For everyday upkeep, the routine is simple: scrub, flip, scrape, and let it float back to the surface when you are done, all from outside the glass.

Questions owners ask

How does the 2-in-1 design work? You flip the handle to switch the magnetic cleaner between a scrubber for algae and a scraper for buildup, according to Flipper.

What happens if it comes loose in the tank? It floats to the surface by design, so it's easy to retrieve instead of settling at the bottom.

Who is the Standard size for? Flipper sizes it for typical, everyday aquarium maintenance and markets it to advanced hobbyists and maintenance professionals doing regular tank care.
