Why owners like it

• Keeping more empty shells than crabs in the habitat eliminates the possibility of competition among the crabs.
• Gives your hermit crabs entertainment as they investigate and try on new shells.
• Encourages a hermit crab to exchange its current shell for one that fits better as it grows.
• These are genuine, unpainted shells, so no two look exactly alike in color, shape, or opening, and they blend into a naturalistic terrarium setup.
• Large size suits bigger hermit crabs that have outgrown smaller shells.
• A 2-pack is a simple, low-clutter way to keep spare shells on hand without overstocking the habitat.

Hermit crabs molt and grow throughout their lives, and each growth spurt can mean a search for a bigger home. Keeping this 2-pack of large natural shells in reserve means your crab has a ready option the moment its current shell starts to feel snug, without you needing to restock the whole habitat every time a crab outgrows what it has.

Questions owners ask
