Why owners like it

• Contains live nitrifying bacteria, the organisms responsible for converting harmful waste into safer compounds in your tank.
• Fritz selected its strains for this freshwater formula, so it is not a generic bacterial blend.
• The brand says these strains are proven to reduce fish loss caused by toxic levels of ammonia and nitrite.
• Formulated specifically for freshwater aquariums, matching the bacterial needs of a freshwater biological filter.
• Sized at 16 fluid ounces, giving you a larger supply to work with for bigger tanks or extended use over time.

Think of it as a tool for the moments when your tank's biological filtration needs the most help, whether you are just starting out or working through a rough patch. Because it is a live product, it is meant to be added directly to establish or reinforce your tank's bacterial colony.
